De nada Grand Opening !

We have missed you so much! If you haven't heard the big news by now let us tell you! We opened up our own shop in town! It's called De Nada - which is Yer welcome in Spanish . Our lives have been crazy getting the shop ready and preparing for our grand opening. We thought it would be a perfect time to bring our blog back ! Let's start off by giving you a tour of the new store. If you are from San Angelo or find yourself in the area please stop by do some shopping and take some pictures with us . Our shop has several different elements , we of course are selling our arts and crafts . We have a great selection of Mexican imports . You can now catch Louda doing hair at De Nada  ! We have Pin up clothes , accessories and more !! Take a look at our video to check out some of the goodies we currently have !

We are so grateful to every one that came out to our Grand Opening party! Thank you to the musicians that helped us out! Thank you to the belly dancers and our buddy manning his food truck.

Now that we have more free time on our hands ...oh wait no we don't but we decided to take the night off and head over to Nachos Restaurant to  support our comedian buddies ! Every third Saturday of the Month they host a Jokers wild show! We were in for a treat ! They had comedians from near and far! Check out a few clips from the highly entertaining night we had , please look up all these folks on social media and do NOT pass up the chance to see them live  .

It's time to bring back an oldie but goodie ! You guessed it ...its mad libs time ! This time around we invited Rocios cousin Crystal and her boyfriend Manny to join us . We are so happy to be back! Come back next week because Louda is engaged and we have it all on film! John Stringer from Chingo blings they can't deport us all Netflix special hung out with us at the shop and we had so much fun chatting it up with him and his wife Joanna . Retro gaming and Mattys custom Tees One year anniversary

This week was a busy one, so busy that we had our taste it Tuesday, Kool-Aid challenge, and more all in one super long entertaining video for you. It's so long we even made an intro for it!! We start off celebrating with our good friends Matt and Martin Lucero for their1 year anniversary at Retro Gaming & Matty's custom Tees!!!

This Monday we were joined by Matt for some laughs and chicken fried steak! If you have any ideas on how to make mad libs more interesting or want to play, write us! We love to have feedback!

Road trip to LoneStar round up 2017

We made it back safe and sound from our fantastic trip to Austin , Texas ! We love our Texas and ran into several mini adventures on the way to Lone star round Up ! If you follow us on the social Meads then you got a glimpse of our fun! It's time to take a closer look at what we got into. Our first pit stop was in Eden, Texas . While we were driving by we stopped at the Garden of Eden and it's just as pretty as it sounds !

Across the street from the Garden of Eden we stopped for brunch at our Fave burrito lady food truck! We stop by to see her every time we are driving through ! Our fave  burrito to get is the chorizo con papa with cheese and bacon! That's what we recommend but she has so much to choose from. She has tables so you can sit and eat or you can have it wrapped up to go!

The tortillas are amazing and the staff is super sweet!

We didn't make it too far down the road when we ran into this cute little petting zoo. we fell in love with all the animals and it took everything we had not to take them home with us. Check out all the babies we meet and feed !

So we finally make it into Austin and we are hangry and ready to eat!!

Okay Time to get serious . This is a very important video ...it's about the BEST CHURROS IN THE WORLD! Rocio Stumbled upon the Churro Co. on Instagram and it was love at first sight. She knew she had to get her hands on one. The first time Rocio went to the Lonestar round up in Austin she made it a point to check it out ! The following trip she introduced Louda and she fell in love with them too. We stopped by the truck twice this time around because we don't know when we will be in the area again and it was the best decision ever. We can't say enough good things about this place and the staff ! The churros are absolutely amazing , the guys are super cool and we can't stop talking about them. Whenever we meet someone from Austin we always make sure to ask if they have been to the churro truck! You wont regret it and please make sure to tell them we sent you!

Thank you guys for letting us hang out with you and hooking us up! Make sure you find these radical dudes on the social meads to keep up with their shenanigans! They are about to change the hours of operation so look em' up to stay in the loop!!

Okay so its time to show you all the  fan-fucking-tastic cars we had the pleasure of seeing at Lonestar round up! This was our 2nd year going together and we were screaming like little girls when we pulled up to the venue. Classic cars fill the city and this is by far the best car show we have been too. The car show goes on for two days and there are several events going on all weekend . Lonestar round up show is huge ! It's full of classic cars, vendors, food trucks of all kinds.  Hit that play button to see some of the fun we had !

Getting ready for Lone Star Round Up!

This weekend we head out to Austin, Texas for Lone star round up! We are so excited to catch up with old friends and make some new ones ! Not to mention hit up the churro truck !!Check out this video and see some of the fun we had last year .

We took a little trip to the Main street saloon to check out some of our local comedians! Support your local talent as often as you can! It helps dreams comes true and it makes the town you live in just a little more radder than before ! Check out a few of the local talent in our area ! Beer fest, Mad Libs, and Dre day

Now that spring has officially sprung we have been spending plenty of time outside! Todays post we are going to show you some of the out door adventures we have been having . First we stop by the first annual Zero one ale house Texas craft beer and music festival ! We had so much fun checking out all the food trucks , listening to some good music, and running into all of our friends . Thank you to everyone that stopped by to say hello to us ! It was a beautiful day to film , eat and dance ! We are looking forward to all the outdoor events to follow! Check out this fun video we made to show you what was going down at the festival !

Spring has sprung

Rattle snakes and madness

We have tons of new things to show you this week ! First things first , thank you for coming back ! We have been getting so much awesome feed back ! We have made tons of new friends since we started our blog, it's been awesome sharing all the trouble we get into with everyone.

For taste it Tuesday we stopped by Senor Changs to see what all the buzz around town was all about! Thank you to our friends who suggested we go there! Thank you to Adrian and his friendly staff for taking the time to talk to us ! If you live in San Angelo, Tx or are passing through , it's a must try! The portions are generous and the flavors are fantastic ! Senor changs el chino Latino is a Mex-Hibachi combination food truck. Check out our video to see what we tasted ! I don't know if you guys are ready for our rattle snake footage!! Just kidding we know yer ready! We head out to Sweet water , Tx for the worlds largest rattlesnake round-up ! This was a first time for the both of us so we had no idea what to expect. Rattle snakes were the main event but there was plenty to do and look at! The event had a carnival outside, a flea market , and a glorious line of food trucks! Let us take you on a quick tour with this first video !

We were having so much fun and making new friends for all over! We got brave and said lets do this! Lets sign up for the rattle snake eating competition ! With an adventures guy from Austin Tx on one side of us and a Documentarian from Montreal Canada on the other side we were pumped and ready to do this !

We didn't place this time around, but now that we have one round under our belt we have a strategy and are coming back next year with a vengeance ! Thank you to everyone that chatted with us and we learned a lot about rattlesnakes and conquered our fear !

Railroad Museum, Mad Libs and isms...

Here we go with another edition of Yer Welcome isms....

We come together and go over some of  the words we use and explain how we came about using these terms. If you missed part one of our isms you can see it on our Go-Go Amy blog. This is our 2nd part to Yer Welcome isms. Yer Welcome.

Last Saturday we went to the Railroad Museum of San Angelo, they are open every Saturday from 10-4, and it was only $5 each for us to get in! When we first went in we got a full tour and were aloud to walk through the carts after! We learned a lot of history on the railroads and what effects they had on our town. Did you know that the Railroad museum was the 2nd biggest building in San Angelo at the time of it being erected? Come walk through the Railroad museum and see old pictures of San Angelo and play with model trains upstairs!

8th annual West Texas tattoo convention

This year marked the 8th annual West Texas Tattoo Convention ! We had a booth for the weekend and had a fucking blast. We sold a ton of  Viva Las Crafties art , had a photo booth, and read tarot cards. The best part of the weekend was making new friends that are just as nuts as we are.

Tons of Tattoo artist from all over come into town for three days and offer a wide variety styles to choose from .  The West Texas tattoo convention gets bigger every year , its definitely one of the events in town we look forward to the most .

Even though we had a busy weekend selling merch that  didn't stop us from doing our usual mad lib madness and we also played make that face when...

Taco party and then some

We are back with another edition of Mad Lib Monday!! This week we are reading with our homie Jesse! We picked Libs out of our Snoop and Bob's Burgers books! Hit play for a laugh!

We appreciate all the love and support we have been getting from everyone recently! We sent out several Valentine cards to our followers and friends , we feel like the luckiest girls in the world with the best sweet hearts a gal could ask for ! Thank you to everyone that tagged us in pictures and shared our page .

We invited our friends Drea and Aubrey to join us for our  Mad Libs Valentines edition today! We want to give them a very BIG thank you for laughing with us and supporting Yer welcome! We had so much fun filming with them! What are you waiting for hit play!

Whether you are newly weds , bestfriends , long term lovers or in the longest one night stand of your life , this day is for everyone 💋  Hug and kiss the shit out of each other! Eat all the chocolate in sight! Wear that scandalous outfit in the back of your closet , even if only just to send a sexy snap chat to that stranger you have never meet but want to bone. Watch pulp fiction with yer Galentine and eat an entire cake because we all know true love comes in the form of dessert . Spend the day snuggling yer fur baby or just stay in reading a book ...because after all this day is all about love and well...do what the fuck you love .

One of the best things about doing this blog is exploring the town we live in! We both have been living in San Angelo, Tx for a long time and we always seem to find hidden gems in this town! Cactus Town Texas is one of them! We didn't really know what to expect when we arrived but after walking around for an hour and half we knew we would be frequent visitors and couldn't wait to share it with everyone . Their is so much to see and plenty of photo Ops so don't forget to bring a camera ! The owner Mike was so kind and gave us a tour of the place, talked to us about how he collected all of his treasures and told us a little bit of background  of his place.  Enjoy this video and photos  as we take you on a tour of cactus town!

Mike gave us a great tip to swing by in April when the flowers are in bloom! We cant wait to go back to see all the beautiful new plants . Make sure to visit Mike and tell him we sent you!  We had a blast and encourage everyone to explore yer town and dig for treasures!

We want to end this post on a romantic note ! Love is all around us and it inspired us to write some poems! Like every bright idea we have this will be the first of many poetry corners . We invited one of the most romantic men we know. He needs no introduction and this most definitely will not be the last time you see him around here!!

Pretty Things Peep Show

On Monday the 6th Pretty Things Peep Show came to the DeadHorse in San Angelo, Tx  and we had the pleasure of interviewing the founder and creator of the most amazing show in the world.....Go-Go Amy!! We sit down with her and her CAF dog, Scraps and talk about life on the road and some of her favorite moments on stage and how it all began.

Pretty Things Peep Show has been coming thru San Angelo since the beginning, 2009. Their show never disappoints and always has fresh new acts that keep you laughing and entertained while on the edge of your seat! Taste it Tuesday with some mad libs

Welcome back to taste it Tuesday ! We are so happy to bring you along with us to Roxie's Diner ! We usually swing by for breakfast but today we treated ourselves to  lunch. We were mind blown with our delicious meals and we CAN NOT wait to go back! The staff is amazing and they make the atmosphere perfect. Roxie's is a 50's theme dinner so it's right up our alley . The lovely ladies greet you by name and it doesn't take long to become a regular because the food is so good you quickly want to go back. Roxie's Diner is full of San Angelo folks and regulars that are happy to sit and chat with you, it's one of the many reasons we love this town and want to continue to support local businesses.  Take a look at our video to see what Roxie's diner has to offer !

From Texas to Nola on the road

In December we took a road trip to Nola!! On the way we busted a U turn when we saw Thunderbird Sales in La Grange, Texas! All the antique, vintage, and classic cars caught our eyes from the other side of the highway. We parked and got out to take a peek inside. Monday Madness

San Angelo clown convention

Why don't cannibals eat clowns ?!? Because they taste funny!!  haha !!

In September of 2016 we had the pleasure of hanging out with some funny folks ! San Angelo had a clown convention that hosted 150 clowns from all over ! We love to check out all the fun events our town has to offer .

In the early 1970s, Patch Adams, a doctor, started the culture of clowning for patients in hospitals. This helps patients recover faster and brighten the gloomy hospital mood.

During the clown convention we had the opportunity to meet a couple Doctors from community hospital . They talked about how laughter is good for heart health ! We have made it a point to laugh at each other everyday so we can live FOREVER .

We meet the local clown celebrity piccolo, but she was so busy we were not able to get a photo with her ! We did however get a few photos of several other clowns that made our day extra fun!

We love clowns !

Today was such a beautiful day in San Angelo, Texas we wanted to

get out in the sun and do something fun. However, we are both self employed

and broke so we thought of something exciting we could do for FREE! So we

grabbed some old cardboard and went do the hill next to The Visitors Center.

We encourage you to get out and fun! We will be posting more free fun things

to do in the future. Please if you try hill remember to recycle and if you walk
